Step 1
Consider the following when you gather photographs to send to me...What is
your preferred house angle and favorite season? Would it be fun to include
children and/or the family pet?
Step 2
In a telephone interview we review your photographs, discuss landscape details
and painting size. Based on this conversation I create an initial layout/composition
and send it to you for feedback/approval.
Step 3
In my studio I use photographs and notes to create a pencil drawing that captures
the essence of your home in its setting. This sketch incorporates children,
pets and any artistic license we may have discussed (examples: "move
tree",
"make all newly planted landscaping more mature", "add roses
to arbor", etc.).
Step 4
Steps 1 through 3 have allowed you to communicate clearly how you
want me to capture your home. Now I'm ready to create a Watercolor
House Portrait that will be
